Aloha! Team Spends Off-Day at Pearl Harbor and Polynesian Cultural Center

The team had an opportunity on the Regional off-day to visit historical and cultural sites on the Island. Pearl Harbor and the Polynesian Cultural Center were stops the team along with the Utah delegation made today. It was fun to see friends and coaches from other Sparta teams and Utah clubs at the sites. The USS Arizona Memorial in Pearl Harbor not far from the playing fields provided a great and moving US historical journey. The PCC at Laie on the North shore was a fun, hands-on, cultural learning experience for the boys and families as it visited authentic polynesian villages, ate at a polynesian luau, and capped off the day at the Horizons show. Overall a great non-soccer experience for the team and families.....
